Lisa Martin is a freelance journalist in Copenhagen, who moved to Denmark for LOVE.

She is an award-winning reporter and a four-time Walkley Award finalist - Australia’s most prestigious prizes for excellence in journalism.

Previously, she worked as a Southeast Asia correspondent with Agence France-Presse in Bangkok. Lisa also served as President of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand in 2023.

Before moving overseas, Lisa worked for The Guardian in Melbourne and had eight years in the Canberra Press Gallery with Australian Associated Press.

In her spare time, Lisa is dabbling with a fiction manuscript.
